What is Strawberry Group ?
Strawberry Group is a family-owned investment company, with a portfolio consisting of real estate, asset management, art and design, as well as being one of the leading hotel operators in the Nordics. The company was founded by Petter Anker Stordalen.

Strawberry Group is a diverse investment company, unified by its four core areas of expertise.
Capital Management
Strawberry Group's asset management arm, consisting of Strawberry Equities and Strawberry Capital, manages a diverse portfolio. This includes publicly traded investments as well as direct, active ownership stakes in both growth companies and established businesses, such as Stureplansgruppen, Veslefrikk, NTLG, and Belmonte.
Hospitality
Strawberry Hospitality Group is the spearhead of the Strawberry conglomerate. The hotel company is one of the Nordic region's largest and most expansive hotel chain and franchise operator, with over 20,000 employees and approximately 250 hotels across the Nordics. The company consists of five hotel chains, Clarion Hotel, Home Hotel, Quality Hotel, Stopover and Comfort Hotels, as well as a portfolio of independent hotel brands such At Six, Kämp Hotel, Yasuragi, Sommerro and The Thief.

Our investment portfolio consists of approximately 15 portfolio companies across various industries, where we, together with skilled leaders and entrepreneurs, develop companies through active ownership. A significant portion of these companies are recognized for their consistent long-term performance.

Petter Anker Stordalen is the self-made force behind Strawberry and its investment philosophy. His first lesson in business came from selling strawberries as a child and working in his fathers grocery store.
Today he invests and runs his businesses with that same belief: Sell the berries you have, because they are the only ones you can sell. Meaning you have to make the most out of what you have.
The essence of the Strawberry philosophy, has over time, expanded to a more holistic business mindset, emphasizing the importance of daring to be different, fostering a culture of passion and courage, and creating value not just financially, but for people and the planet.
